We will welcome to campus Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple, together with Cal and Haas MBA alumnus Ted Janus for a Fireside Chat on the future of blockchain/distributed ledger technology and its potential to revolutionize financial payments and transfers globally, with greater speed and reach and lower cost. Ripple's vision is to enable the Internet of Value so the world can move value the way it moves information today. For some of you this will follow on from from the Dean's Speaker Series session with Ripple founder Chris Larsen last month.

If you're interested in fintech, blockchain, financial inclusion or early-stage VC, please join us for this unique opportunity to hear from both a visionary CEO and a prescient investor.

Teach-ins are opportunities for students to share as well as to learn, so please come with questions. Or feel free to join just because this will be really interesting!

RSVP below to attend (and only if you know you can attend).

Location to be finalized: We will be in either the iLab in the Stadium, or S480 ExecEd classroom -- registered attendees will be notified in advance.

Teach-ins are brought to you jointly by the Haas Finance Group, MBA Finance Club and Career Management Group
